Fans gain deeper insight into the lives of our favorite Hope Zion doctors by seeing what they are like while hanging out at the bar after hours in CTV’s ‘Saving Hope’ companion web series, ‘Last Call.’ In the latest trio of episodes, we are given new character pairings, all of which result in fascinating conversations. We probably would not get to see these kinds of moments in the hospital when the doctors are scrambling to save lives.

If you watch the first set of ‘Last Call’ episodes, you may have noticed a bit of foreshadowing. ‘Last Call’s’ “Fuzzy Coma” showed us a spark between Melanda and Zach, which evolved into some major heat in ‘Saving Hope’s’ “Defense.

Be sure to pay close attention to these three new webisodes because you never know what they may lead to on ‘Saving Hope.’

Canadian viewers can watch ‘Last Call’ at CTV.ca.

Non-Canadian viewers can thank ‘Saving Hope Italia’ for the videos below (click on the bold episode titles to be linked to the videos). You can also download the Google App HOLA to view international videos.

Episode 4 “Remember Me?

Michael Shanks directed this episode, in which Charlie uses the bar as a metaphor for his supernatural experience. While fixing a wobbly chair, Charlie talks to Jackson about how people treat each other differently when they’re in the bar. Once they are outside, it’s like they haven’t even met. Charlie likens the bar to limbo, saying, “It’s like the bar is the in-between.” Jackson worries about Charlie after he makes such an odd observation and offers to join him for a drink. Charlie’s friends are starting to catch on to his strange behavior. Will they talk to Alex about it or confront Charlie with the little things they’ve noticed?

Episode 5 “Sense and Sensitivity

Shahir and Dawn prove why “Human Resources” is sending the brutally blunt pair of doctors to sensitivity training in “Sense and Sensitivity.” Shahir’s peers and patients frequently tell him that he could work on his bedside manner, despite being a brilliant neurologist. Similarly, Dawn owns her professional aggressive behavior. She even tells Alex that she knows people perceive her as a “bitch,” but it doesn’t stop her from doing her job as she sees fit. It will be interesting to see if their sensitivity training is ever mentioned in an episode of ‘Saving Hope’ and even more fun if we could see one of their sessions. Do you think sensitivity training will help bring out their gentler sides?

Episode 6: “What Do You See?

Gavin and Zach turn a wet cocktail napkin into an ink-blot test. Zach and Gavin dish out some painful truths when they “shrink” each other. Do you think Gavin feels a little out of place at Hope Zion? Will a new relationship with Mel help Zach let go of his anger towards his ex-wife?

What do you think of the second batch of ‘Last Call’ episodes? Do you have a favorite? Were you surprised by any of them?
