I’m pleasantly surprised, Hopefuls. Despite being 100% supernatural free, Thursday’s ‘Saving Hope’ was one of this season’s better episodes. “Twinned Lambs” served up a lot of huge moments, some of which were drastically life-changing. Although the cases differed, they all shared something in common: relationships. Whether it is professional, friendship, forbidden romance, or familial love,…

I’m officially worried, Hopefuls. Charlie reached his breaking point in Thursday night’s (Feb. 13) “Breathless.” Just when I thought he finally embraced his gift and decided to use it for good, Charlie abuses his special ability and then goes to great lengths to get rid of it. To be honest, I am disappointed in Charlie.…

As we know, ‘Saving Hope’ can be full of surprises and Thursday night’s (Feb. 6) “Don’t Poke the Bear” provided us with a couple. For starters, we gain interesting insight on Alex’s vulnerability. We’ve seen how brave and quick-thinking this surgeon can be, but she isn’t completely fearless. We suddenly discover how huge of an…

It looks like Dana (Wendy Crewson) and Alex (Erica Durance) really forged a bond during Dana’s cancer treatment in “Nottingham 7.” Now that Dana is on the mend, the two of them enjoy a girls’ night out in the webisode: "Bad Break". While they shoot pool, Dana asks Alex about her break-up with Charlie. Alex…

Let’s face it. Dawn (Michelle Nolden) and Shahir (Huse Madhavji) are probably the most uptight doctors in Hope Zion. We’ve seen how Dawn’s know-it-all confrontational attitude ruffles feathers and Shahir has received more than one complaint about his poor bed-side manner. In ‘Last Call’ Episode 5, “Sense and Sensitivity,” we learned that Human Resources sent…

Get excited Hopefuls! ‘Saving Hope’s’ web series has returned with new episodes. ‘Last Call’ continues to give us insight on the lives of Hope Zion’s finest while they burn off some steam at the local bar. They nicely coincide with currently airing episodes and reveal some feelings that aren’t always expressed on the show itself. Episode 10,…

This season of ‘Saving Hope’ has been very bittersweet. Thursday night’s (Jan. 30) “43 Minutes” turned out to be a bit of a downer. Going into the episode, we knew it would be a fast-paced race against death as Alex & Co. try to save John Doe’s life. There were so many close calls, giving…

Wow, Hopefuls! That was a surprising end to a really good and grossly graphic episode. We knew the soldier’s ghost was going to make Charlie re-evaluate his whole “I see dead people” situation, but I didn’t expect him to come clean to Gavin about the whole thing. It is a risky move to reveal the…

Getting drunk and high is one way to deal with a life-changing diagnosis. I’m sure a lot of patients blow off steam after learning they have cancer. But what if that patient happens to be an uptight doctor who missed all of the symptoms on her own body? Thursday’s (Jan. 16) “Nottingham 7” revealed a…
