Last week, NBC‘s New Amsterdamreturned with a phenomenal episode that saw Max (Ryan Eggold) pulling through (with a little help from his friends) and now has the full support of his colleagues–all willing to help carry his workload so he can stay on during cancer treatment. All of the doctors need to step up, especially Bloom (Janet Montgomery). Her addiction to Adderall and working overtime at another hospital could have cost her dearly. Sharpe (Freema Agyeman) will definitely keep tabs on Bloom, now that she knows the truth.

New Amsterdam s01e11 ‘A Seat at the Table’: As Max (Ryan Eggold) begins his treatment, he realizes that it may slow him down faster than he originally thought. Also starring Tyler Labine as Dr. Iggy Frome and Anupam Kher as Dr. Vijay Kapoor. Guest starring Lisa O’Hare as Georgia and Margot Bingham as Evie.

New Amsterdam airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
