We still have so many questions and are on the edge of our seats, wondering what could possibly come next for Team Witness. Well, you are in luck, I’ve screened “Tomorrow” and can guarantee that you will be thrilled with Albert Kim’s thoughtful follow-up to those shocking events.

I don’t want to give away spoilers, so I’ll stick to FOX’s official description and images included their press release. TV Insider also has an illuminating interview with Kim, in which he discusses the Molly/Lara twist, Henry’s return, Crane’s transformation, Jenny’s desire to leave, a chilling future and Ajax’s feelings. Check it out here. After you take a look at the gripping promo and the teasers below, I’ll give you my impression of “Tomorrow”.

Advanced review

Throughout the season, Malcolm and Molly have had visions of a dreary future. From the flashes we’ve seen, we know that Crane is old and locked-up, ‘Count of Monte Cristo’ style, while Malcolm reigns free over America. “Tomorrow” opens in the future and we see the events leading up to Lara’s trip to the past. It is a chilling sight! The whole sequence in the future is very well done. We have a full understanding of where Team Witness and their foes stand. You will be riveted. Once we trace Lara’s steps, the narrative returns to the present day.

Team Witness makes a daring and kick-ass escape from War, Malcolm and Jobe. It’s a “WOW” moment. Afterwards, Crane is in a chrysalis, transforming into War, just as Henry did. Team Witness must find a way to stop this transformation. While they frantically research, Henry appears. Remember how Alex kept the jar of evil spider goo in the Vault? As expected, that plays a part in Henry’s resurgence. Can he be trusted? Is he the same old evil Henry? Is he the Henry that lives on in Crane’s memories? Will he help Team Witness save his father from a wicked fate? You’ll just have to wait and see…

In another episode highlight, we get to see Diana and Lara share some interesting mother/daughter time. Lara may be future Molly, but she is different than the 10 year old Witness we’ve come to know. We still how and when present day actions will affect Lara. It has to catch-up with her at some point, right?

As M. Raven Metzner and Kim promised fans on Twitter, we do get answers in “Tomorrow” and we’ll still be left wanting to know more. Season 4 has shaped up to be one of the show’s best and the penultimate episode continues their streak of epic storytelling.

I have to admit, this season has had a lot of call-backs to Season 1. Sometimes it almost feels like Sleepy Writers are bracing fans for this to be the final season because so many big stories/character arcs/journeys are coming full circle. It’s a little eerie and it makes me a nervous.

What do you think Sleepy Heads? Does this season feel like it has been the beginning of the end? Or is it just part of “rebooting” the series and bringing back what we enjoy most about ‘Sleepy Hollow’ (other than Ichabbie feels, obviously)? Share your below!

‘Sleepy Hollow’ airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on FOX.
